My name is Bruce Dellinger.

I am a game producer, an artist, and a tech enthusiast. I do my best to empower others to utilize resources, maximize impact, and discover their potential no matter the challenge.

Mekazoo is a 2D platformer set in a vibrant 3D world with fast-flowing gameplay and a cast of kinetically-diverse mechanized animals.

Acted as self directed owner of publishing and partner relations, successfully pushing a 33 language, multiplatform release built in Unity to the entire world.

​

Contributed to regular stakeholder meetings, resulting in a monthly installed $5M total capital investment. Acted as steward of funds, responsibly employing capital to design, construct the studio’s entire technical infrastructure, coordinate participation in 11 major industry events.

​

Led cross-disciplinary collaboration, uniting departments in sprint meetings to drive forward progress, identify risks, and strategize on overcoming roadblocks, ensuring alignment with milestone deadlines.

​

Worked on the creation of over 30 scenes, incorporating knowledge in sculpting, modelling, texturing, and propping inside the Unity editor.

A micro-sized narrative adventure with simplified turn-based combat, telling a compelling narrative that leads the protagonist to make one final pivotal choice that will forever define his existence.

One of three production coordinators, managed planning, scheduling, and collaboration between a popup team of 40 and directed a team of 9 artists through entire art pipeline from 2D concept to 3D asset integration to publish a fully featured isometric 3D title built in Unity in under 72 hours.

​

Owned visual direction for project, negotiated, developed, and maintained a defined visual style throughout production and pushed art staff to hone deliverables for consistency and quality through one on one critiques and feedback sessions.

​

Created visual and technical outlines for team reference and dissemination to assist in spreading a collective vision of character and environment design and ensure technical artists were maintaining a consistent standard when integrating assets in engine.

ABOUT ME

Bruce Dellinger

Ever since I was three, fumbling with my parent's business PC running Windows NT, I've been obsessed with technology.

 

Ever since I was four, and my father showed me one could put pencil to paper and let imagination flow, I've been captivated by creative expression in the visual space. 

​

Ever since I was 12, after dropping Halo CE into that Xbox tray and being transported to another universe, I've been immersed in the pursuit to understand how I could be part of offering that same feeling of joy and wonder to others.

​

This intrigue resulted in a path to video games through art, and once there I realized that I naturally fell into roles supporting my team through leadership and administration.

​

Since briefly stepping away from games, it's now clear that I can most effectively bring my love of immersive experience through video games and art to others with my abilities to lead and my knowledge in the fields of project management, tech, and digital art. 

​

And I'm excited for what the future of gaming holds!
